MISYAF
Misyaf is located 50 km. to the east of Banyas. An Arab Citadel,
which was captured by the Crusaders in 1103 but quickly recovered by the
Arabs in 1140, is the most important site in it. The citadel is
surrounded by orchards of fig, pomegranate, cherry and berry trees.
